Ordering Your Builder or Architect will calculate your siding needs by the linear board foot. You may choose to mix your boards, such as 12", 8" and 10" widths , like the old historic log cabins were built. However for a clean Frontier log cabin look, just use one size board, such as all 12" siding. Receiving your Order All jobs are processed in the order received. Special arrangements may be made for priority, rush handling. As a general rule, 30-60 days is enough time to complete an order. However, we highly recommend that you order a few months ahead to insure that it will arrive in time for your project. Payment Pioneer Log Siding requires a 50% deposit by Cashier’s Check or Money-Order to process your order, payable to Richard Gunst. Balance is due upon completion when order is ready to ship. Shipping Pioneer Log Siding is shipped out from Bellingham or Coupeville Washington. The customer is responsible for their own freight charges. Should you require help in locating a local shipper in this area. Pioneer Log Siding will be happy to assist you. We should have links on our site soon to local shippers in our area, We do highly recommend that you book your load as a partial load, piggy-backing it with other shipments to your site location, which should reduce your cost. Turnaround Time Smaller orders normally take about 30 days to complete, while the larger orders can take up to 60 days. Since Pioneer Log Siding must handcrafted each and every board, it is well worth the wait!
