HAND HEWN HISTORIC LOG SIDING
We Hand Hew and Distress Lumber into Frontier Log Siding.

New kiln dried DF boards are hand hewn and
distressed to simulate historic square logs.

Our Handcrafted Pioneer Log Siding Simulates Rustic Square Logs.

We hand hew and distress boards dramatically to transform any home or business into an Historic look of the past.

Each piece of Pioneer Log Siding is handcrafted using several methods of board distressing such as hacking, chopping, draw knifing, and chainsaw cutting.

Draw knives, broad ax, adze and other tools help create the authentic, weathered pioneer look.

Thickness of siding boards is approx. 1 1/2"

Pioneer Log Siding is cost effective, thicker, stronger, more energy efficient and with proper care, will last a lifetime. Board cracks, splits and knotholes only add Frontier beauty to our rustic log cabin boards. As an option, you can pre-order the historic siding stained in your choice of colors, ready for installation when it reaches your site. Some competitors fabricate factory machine boards with beveled edges and repetitive grooves leaving a false appearance. We are proud to say we offer only genuine, handcrafted aged siding with a true look of the old Frontier.

Siding board lengths are 10' - 12' - 16' - 20'
